Over the next few weeks there will be some changes happening to Children and Family Centres in Lewisham.

On 1st October the management of Bellingham, Evelyn and Ladywell Centres will move from Early Years Alliance to
Lewisham Council management, as Lewisham are integrating the Children and Family Centres into Family Hubs from 1st October 2024.
The same thing is happening to the school-based centres too.

The existing staff will continue to provide stay and play activities, baby massage, parenting programmes, family
support and information and advice, so you will still see familiar faces.
However, Lewisham Council will be reviewing service delivery over the coming months to ensure an equal offer is available for families across the borough, and so there may be changes made in the future, as Family Hubs continue to develop.

Family Hubs are places where families can connect, grow and thrive and include services which support families to achieve positive health, wellbeing and development of children and young people, so continue to build on the successful work of the Children and Family Centres in providing services to meet the needs of local children, young people and their families.
